Is It Just Me?

Or is anyone else going through total mind meltdown right now?

I don't know if it was the feeling of the holidays, the Lost Blogs campaign, work, or what...but I just cannot get back into the swing of things.

I have been trying to catch up on all my blog-reading lately, but it seems like I just can't get a grip. I look at my Bloglines and want to cry : I see Belinda's blog has 5 unread posts as does Dr.Pants. Kristen, whose site I normally read a couple of times a day has 4 unread posts.  Same with Kevin's site. I won't even let myself think about the 45+ posts the Overheard Sites have waiting.  Aaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!

My laundry needs washing. I have a ton of things to list on eBay. I have a list of work clients that I should have called last week. I need to drop 1 tiny thing off at the dry cleaners...but I just can't do it!

What the bejeezus is going on?  Anyone else having brain-fry issues this week?

I agree. I don't have any problem getting through everyone's blogs and still finding time to brush my teeth.

Maybe the "lazy" summer mode is kicking in :) I don't know what chanakin is talking about I visited his site a couple days ago and he didn't post anything new for like 2 whole days! :( Just rattling your chain riceman! ;)

Oooohhhh... bite me, too! Bite me, too! You owe me for not reading four of my posts! I'm actually all caught up. Of course, I've cut some news feeds from Bloglines. The ones that run up completely ridiculous numbers (like Digg.com). So, now it's mostly blogs and some lesser news sites. Keeping all caught up is not so bad now.

Hah... I guarantee that I'm worse off. I jumped from Lost Blogs Week directly into my Blogiversary III celebration, and am so far behind in blogs and email that it will take me at least a week to get unburied.

I definitely do and I think my problem is the weather. It's getting nicer and I want to spend more time outside, which means less time for reading. Plus, I don't know about you, but this time of year is always busy with things to do and places to go. You are sooo not alone!

So it looks like Lost Blogs thing may have had something to do with it. Except for you, Kevin, apparently you're superhuman or something. All organized and such. You may bite me, as well. J'sMommy - That too, I've been having a lot of oddball stuff to do lately as well. *sigh* Oh well. It could be worse - I could have absolutely NOTHING to do! :) (By the way...I still haven't started writing and it's been 30 minutes since I posted on your site!)

I'm with you! My brain has been all smushy lately. I've been trying to catch up today and I think I'm going cross-eyed now. We're either having total blog meltdown, or as my middle school principal once said, "Spring has sprung." (you have to say it with a thick Texas accent) ;-)

Yup. Same here. I'm lucky to hit 3 or 4 a day. That Lost Blogs thing just wiped me out.

Yeah. Total brain fry here. I've kinda been off my feed since I've been planning this book signing event. And now I'm sick. It truly sux.
