I Can't
It's been, what? 745 days since my last post? And I still have nothing fun to report.
I went to Tulsa for a few days and had a great time with J. But now I'm back home in COLDASS Texas. I'm calling and filling out applications and searching, but I'm still without a job. (And therefore quickly running out of money! GAK!) I'm really funny and bright and stuff...but OH YEAH, I'm really not.
So, I'll just do what I do best. I'm stealing an idea from another blogger...this time from the lovely Tracey.
A List Of Things I Cannot Do:
- Say the words "hay bale" without GREAT effort (I just tried it outloud...it was 'bay hell' 'hay hale' 'hell bay' and 'bay bell' for about 10 tries)
- Snap my fingers (although I can do this!)
- Pop a balloon (it makes me wanna vomit, ok?)
- Eat oranges (allergic to all citrus...how suckass is that?)
- Resist peeling fingernail polish off (I clear-coated my nails last night...it's already all gone)
- Type the word "celebrate" quickly (watch : cellabe claelbea ceablera ceava cevlevb...see?!)
What easy stuff can't you do?
(And by easy stuff, I don't mean popping a balloon because THAT? That is just dangerous. It could totally...pop...and stuff.)

I'm scared of popping balloons. (Damn I just admitted it on the 'net.) I really never liked Jack in The Boxes - suspense toys suck!
I can't watch a gory movie - I get scared and sick.
I can't touch a bug - not even a dead one - I just can't do it - I don't watch that dare show cause they touch bugs. Almost failed biology since I couldn't touch the grasshopper. True phobia.
I can't sing - I want to - I try to, but my voice will not obey my requests for a tune.

I can't:
- just do it.
- walk past a perfect patch of frost without stopping, staring and swaying... I have a weakness for sparkles.
- pass up looking at almost anything dead.
- be calm at children's parties that include balloons.

I can't say "coin toss", it always comes out "toin coss". And because I am capt. of the soccer team, this was something that I had to say at least once a week.
Also, can't open champagne indoors without being a wuss (I think I am giong to break a window or have the cork ricochet and hit me in teh face) so I have someone else do it and look on from an adjacent room.

I can't... ever come up with things like this. There are a million easy things I can't do, but do you think I could think of a single one when I'm on the spot like this? I guess I can't think on my feet, does that count?

I cannot ride a bike or dive. Yeah, I'd totally suck on The Amazing Race unless they added a trivia catagory.
Ya know, there's something about using "Colda$$" and "Texas" in the same e-breath that just doesn't seem to work for me. Come visit Illinois and you'll be begging to go back to Tejas.

I can't watch any television or movie scene with puke scenes in it.
And your balloon fear reminded me of my toaster one. I can't stay by the toaster waiting for it to pop because it will scare me every time!
Glad I don't have a citrus allergy because I just had a wicked craving for oranges last week for some odd reasons. I was devouring them as if my life depended on them. And I never eat oranges. And no, I'm not pregnant, lol. I don't know what the fuck was going on, but I could not get enough of them.
OMG, I'm not the only one who is actually afraid of balloons popping, or who cringes waiting for the toaster to pop up because it scares me every time!
It's so nice to know I'm not a freak. Or that if I am, I'm not alone :)
