The First Kiss
They say you will know everything you need to know in that first kiss. (Of course, by 'they,' I really just mean Rachel on a Friends episode I watched last night. Heh.) Regardless, I tend to believe it's true.
The Boyfriend's and my first kiss was nothing less than spectacular. He came up behind me in the kitchen and put his hands on my arms, and as his face nestled into the curve of my neck, I closed my eyes...
But I won't continue with that because it'll make me all crazy-like, like it always does, and I'll run in the bedroom and wake him up by pouncing on him...and that would just be so very wrong of me...hmmm. Ahem.
ANYWAY.
My first kiss ever was in 2nd grade. Chad. He was this frumpy little freckle-faced boy who I just thought was the cutest little fat kid ever. I had a crush on him because he was just SO funny. (Whatever 'funny' is in 2nd grade...the best knock-knock jokes maybe?)
So one day during recess, I saw him walking alone. I ran up to him full speed...and for some reason, he looked a little scared at this. I stopped in front of him and he just looked at me. So I grabbed him and gave him a big ol' smooch. I shined a big grin at him, proud of my utter sweetness.
Instead of instantly handing me a box of candy hearts like I expected, he bolted.
Not only that, he bolted toward the teacher, who wasn't far away. I stood and watched as he cried to the teacher and pointed in my direction. Then I watched as the teacher, hands on hips, came at me, while Chad ran the other way.
Chad: apparently NOT so funny anymore. The big fat baby.
I got in trouble. Chad kept on running.
And, even though we went to the same small school together until we graduated, I don't believe he ever said another word to me. And I saw him tonight at the store for the first time in about 10 years. He looked at me and I smiled when I recognized him. He kept walking. In the other direction.
Yeah. I think that first kiss should have clued me in.
Now tell me about your first kiss!

My first kiss. Well, the very first one was when I was 5. I kissed Sophie behind the recliner in her living room. I swore we would be married, but her mom caught us and bitched us out.
Thus, it was not meant to be. Star-crossed lovers and all that.

My first kiss was in kindergarten. I started young. We always played "Star Wars" at recess and I always got to be Princess Lei (even though I'd never seen the movie). This boy Tyrone used to play with us, too. He was a Trooper or something.
One day we were on the lunch line at the same time, Tyrone and me. My mom had done my hair in two Princess Lei buns on the side of my head upon my request. Even back then I was into the theatrics of playing. Tyrone told me I looked pretty. And then out of nowhere he laid one on me. Right on the kisser. I was shocked. Even the lunchlady was stunned.
I don't remember much about the other kids that I played with at recess. But I always remembered Tyrone.

Um. My first REAL kiss was the summer after 7th grade (see, I'm not a slut) and it wasn't romantic at all. I we were outside in somebodys yard.
But he was super cute. His name was John.
Ironically - my first kiss was with some kid in a corn field when I detassled the summer before my freshman year in high school. And I just saw him for the first time since this past weekend. In a bar. With my husband.
And the first thing out of my mouth was "oh my god I think I kissed you!"
LOL!!! You should've run up to him and kissed him, rofl!!
I don't know if it was my first kiss, but my first MEMORABLE kiss was when I had a huge crush on the boy who lived behind me.
We were sitting on his porch (I was about 10) and he kissed me. But he wouldn't stop. Even though I pulled away again and again. So I had to slap him.
Then he broke up with me and I was brokenhearted. Even though he was a mouth rapist, lol.
My first kiss with Mike was nice, albeit a bit blurry (damn you red bull and vodka). Oh and I totally made the first move. Mike's almost wife is EASY! ;)

Uh, my first kiss (that counts - sloppy pre-school kisses do not) happened when I was 15. Hey, I had a REALLY long awkward phase. Wait - I think I am still in it. Anyway, my friend and I foolishly snuck out of my house in the middle of the night and went strolling on the avenue. We met these 2 guys, and we ended up hanging out after they rescued us from some weirdos. So, we went back to their house with them, smoked pot, and played strip poker. Then we made out. Did I mention they were 24? And that we were 15? N.A.S.T.Y!!! I was a really wise teenager.

Grade one, 6 years old, Robbie Oliver.
Need I say more?
My first kiss was at 17. In chair lift at the snow. Admittedly it happened pretty late, but it was nice and the opportunity had never come up previously.
