Let me introduce you to my newest blogger of the week : Mar.
Apparently, we have lots in common. She likes appletinis, thinks spending $90,000 on a wedding is completely INSANE (look at the Trump-owned place her niece got recently!!), is addicted to coffee, and is dating a beautiful woman.
She works for a skincare company, so don't tell her I don't wash my face everynight before bed. I guess that's where my wrinkles come in, huh? Arrrgh. Go see First, The Bad News and tell Mar I sent you.
GIRL! I finally got you on here!!
Everyone, say a big fat hello to TRICIA. I finally got her booty in my rental spot. Yay! I've rented from this lady before and she's super nice. She also has two mottos, both of which I can 100% relate to : live life to the fullest and don't have any regrets. AMEN, SISTAH!!
Plus, she lives in Canada. Maybe, if you're really lucky, she'll sneak in an "eh?" for ya. Go see!

Ya know, I would normally say I don't play favorites, but I sure did this week with who my new renter is. Everyone has heard me yackin' about this one before...one of my favorite ladies on the blogosphere : DEB!!!!
This is the nutjob sweetheart I'll be meeting and playing around with in California in July. I can't wait!
Go check out Deb's blog, "This is NOT the Life I Pictured". Even though her template is jacked up right now and you have to scroll to see content (wtf Deb?) and she has a disturbing picture of a deformed giraffe (wtf Deb?!?), the blog really is fantabulous. As Lloyd from Dumb & Dumber says, "I.like.it.a.lot."
So, do as I say and check her out. (But, um, guys...not in THAT way...she's married.)
***In giving Deb the bid this week, I once again had to deny Tricia...that's three times now! ACK! So, please, go pay her a visit too. Next week, she's gonna be my renter. But go now anyway.
I'm beyond thrilled to find this lady. HILARIOUS! Go check out Mama Grouch and the Creep for me. Her post called "Anchor Head" is a friggin' riot. Go look at the picture sequence!

Mel's Babbles - Please tell me you'll bid again, Mel! Mel is another great photographer. And she has 2 adorable sons that would make anyone want to snap pictures.
I am so very thrilled about my renter this week. I'd seen her around the blogosphere quite a bit, but somehow had missed reading her site. When I stopped over there today, my first thought was I!LOVE!HER!
Please go check out Mrs.Fortune. She's a great writer, SO funny, and is my kindred spirit in high school nerdiness. And, guess what? She.Has.A.Beagle. A BEAGLE (that's him...over there). If that ain't fate, I don't know what is. She has a post up right now about the torture of being that kid in school. It's great. And, Mrs.Fortune, I was a TAG girl too...we were called Enrichments. NERDS UNITE!
Secondly. And something that only slightly makes me say 'WOOHOOO' more than finding Mrs.Fortune's bid : I won $5,000.
No, not the lotto, like I'd hoped (though I did win $12 from that!). I can't talk about details since it's a lawsuit and this is public domain, but you know how debt collectors are evil beings (not you Goosie...or Mabel)? Well, one did some bad stuff to me a couple of years ago. They lied and cheated and were just plain ol' nasty pants. Unfortunately for them, I knew the law. And they just paid me five grand, baby. THANK YOU, collectors, for being big fat turds...and thank you for paying my way to BlogHer. Neener freaking neener.
One other thing. I was at work today, painting a lady's living room, and their phone rang. She answered and the converation went like this - you can't make this stuff up :
Mrs.D : "Hello?.....*gasp*..........*GASP!!!*....... Oh. My. GOD.......How many fingers? ALL of them?.......Oh my god. How'd he do it, with his chainsaw??......Oh, man. How bad is it?......They came ALL the way off??........Oh, wow. So tell me, what color capri pants did you buy today because I got the khaki ones."
Gasp, indeed. I hope they don't clash when they meet at the ER later.
Within a few hours, I had bids from four equally wonderful blogs. I checked out all the blogs (one I read already) and made the tough decision. I chose Henry the Adequate because he made me laugh out loud - and because his blog is totally the type I'd have in my bloglines (and he is. now. and stuff.)
His tagline explains it all : "My name is Henry the Adequate, and I am a superhero"
The blog is told in the voice of a flame-throwing yet unfortunate comic book character who is someone you want to both pat on the head and fear at the same time. He's also an Aussie, which always seems to make us American girls want to jump his bones as well.

Everyone, please give a warm welcome to my lovely new renter, Erin, from Pupsickle. I picked her because she's a new find of mine and I just adore her. She has an unruly but sweet-faced dog, Bobby, who likes to dismember his stuffed animals much like my little monsters do. Go see the recent pics of the now-blind duck to see what I mean.
Her and her hubby are such a CUTE couple, and guess what? They live in Alaska! How freaking awsome is that?? A little cold for my taste, but it's ALWAYS been on my list of things to do. I'd love to see it. Maybe she'll invite me up there? Huh? Erin? Whatcha say?? She has some amazing pictures of the ice sculpture competition up right now...WOW. I wish I could have seen that!

This fine lady is the one who designed the site you're looking at! Ya know, the one that Stella has a hard time reading (waa waa waa!) *wink* She is fantastic - and, as I well know, VERY patient. If your blog needs a new design, I highly recommend her work. She's fast and knows what she's doing (like the dirty ho professional she is).
Another reason you should click and then hire her to do your site? Because she is SOOOO very pregnant (with TWINS!) and wants to quit her day job. If you guys hire her, well, she can. So DO IT.

I had two other bids and it was hard to choose between them, but I ended up picking Mystickal because she handmakes the neatest stuff! I wish I was talented like that. Bah. She makes and sells her own incense, candles and bath stuffs. On her blog she gives tarot readings, has weekly contests (where you win actual PRIZES!!), and, helllllo? she celebrates 'Random Acts of Kindness Week'. How could I not choose her?
